The Kittredge Summer Program offers the best of both worlds.  Students keep their skills sharp with an academic session each morning, followed by afternoon workshops, such as art, basketball, poetry, or music. 

 

Our class size of 15 students or fewer allow our teachers to keep students engaged and interested in learning. Students are assessed at the start of the session and placed in learning groups by both grade and achievement level.  Reading, writing and math are emphasized, with elements of science, art, music and more incorporated into the academic day as well.

 

The Afternoon Program includes four days of workshops and on Fridays, a walking field trip.  Typical destinations include Mountain Lake Park, Presidio National Park, and Baker Beach. 

 

Students may enroll for the morning academic portion only, or for the the full day.  Extended Day care is available before classes begin, as early as 7:45am, and until 6:00pm.  The summer program is available to Kittredge students entering Grades 1-8, as well as students enrolled in other schools.

The 2024 Kittredge Summer School Program runs June 17 -July 19.
